EWEPA 2009
The authoritative EWEPA Conference and its companion North American Productivity Workshop (NAPW) bring together all scientists and practitioners in the field of efficiency and productivity. Hosted for the first time in Italy, the XI Conference will deliver state-of-the-art research and attractive social events. The XI European Workshop on Efficiency and Productivity Analysis will take place in Pisa, Italy. The city of Pisa is situated in western Tuscany, not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Its urban plan of reduced dimensions presents continuous testimony of historical events and cultural epochs that reflects its millenary development. Thus, within the medieval heart of the city, archaelogical findings emerge from the Etruscan and Roman Pisa, and monuments have been standing since it was a Maritime Republic. Beside the University of Pisa, founded in 1343, two other Academic Institutions are located in Pisa: the Scuola Normale Superiore, founded by Napoleon in 1810 , and the Sant'Anna School for Advanced Studies, working in the field of applied sciences. Pisa airport "Galileo Galilei" is only 2 Km away from the city centre and it is connected with the major Italian airports and with many cities of Europe and the rest of world. Please Note:Presenters must arrive in the session room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to meet the session chair, to check equipment, and to upload their presentations.
